Who we are
About JB Conservation
JB Conservation is a small family run business based in Taunton, Somerset, which offers a range of traditional and natural methods to sustain old, listed and historic buildings using lime mortar.
"After searching for local tradesmen with experience in stone wall repairing, I contacted Jack at JB Conservation and within the space of a few hours Jack had contacted me and booked in an appointment. Jack and his team was amazing, sourcing what was needed, working around my time frame. They did a substantial amount of work on our beautiful barn. Our neighbours complimented us on the polite and considerate way Jack carried out his tasks. He was clean and tidy, professional and accurate in all that he did. I would recommend Jack and his team at JB Conversation without hesitation for doing a fantastic job - thank you."

"Jack is very conscientious and the external decoration he did for us was of an excellent standard. There were many fine details on our old cob, brick and stone wall which did not escape his gaze! Always pleasant, reliable and very hard working. We will not hesitate to use him again."

"JB Conservation did work on my Victorian home last year. The father and son business repointed the brickwork, laid a French drain, repaired and rebuilt a boundary wall and built a wall to enclose my patio area.
They were professional, reliable, trustworthy and I was delighted with the outcome and finished job.
I would recommend them and would have them do future work."
